City and Liverpool Slip Up

Manchester City, genuine title contenders this season and Liverpool, 4th place candidate both lost 1-0 this weekend to Swansea and Sunderland respectively. City's away form of late has not been very convincing as they failed to win in 5 occasions in their previous 7 away games. Their lost in the hands of Swansea dealt a minor blow to their title charge as they are now 1 point adrift to Champions Manchester United with 10 more games to go. Statistics have shown that United are good at holding their nerves towards the end of the Premier League, so City would really have to up their level if they are to be crowned Champions this season.

Talking about Liverpool, disappointing is the only word to describe them. At 39 points only after 27 games, they now lie 7th in the Premier League table and most likely miss out on the crucial Champions League spot again following their 1-0 lost to Sunderland.

Meet The Aventador

The technical basis for the Aventador J is the Aventador LP 700-4, Lamborghini’s new twelve-cylinder model. The new twelve-cylinder with a displacement of 6.5 litres and 700 hp combines the best in high-revving thrills with mighty pulling power. It uses a super-fast ISR transmission, push-rod suspension and  permanent all-wheel drive. Structure wise, The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4’s is based on an innovative monocoque made from carbon fiber reinforced polymers which is a combination of systematic lightweight design with optimum stiffness and safety.

A wide intake at the front of the car and small upward-tilting winglets on the edges give the Aventador J the look of an F1 car from the side, says Lamborghini.

There is however a concern on safety. There is no front windshield; the exterior and interior are melded into one, and the driver's head and face are exposed at high speeds without the right protective features.

Having reviewed about the car, it is only for one owner to have; just the single example built for the show exists. Other prototypes do not exist and there are no other plans for more. This is it. One Car, One Owner..... And it's already sold!

Arsenal bowing out like a champ

After trailing AC Milan 4-0 from the Champions League first leg, the Gunners headed into the tie with little hopes. However, they were quickly back into the tie with  three first-half goals and look set to make history by overturning a 4-0 first-leg deficit.

In the second chance, Van Persie missed a glorious chance to put a rampant Arsenal 4-0 up. From then on, Milan finally woke from their slumber and could have sealed the tie on several occasions. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Nocerino's squandered chances did not in the end prove costly as the Italians survived and are still on the quest to search for their 8th Champions League trophy.

Young double helps United down Spurs

Manchester United moved back to within two points of Manchester City at top of the Premier League table with a 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

The first half saw Tottenham controlling possession yet going down to Wayne Ronney headed goal from a corner in the first half extra time.
The second half then saw former Aston Villa player Ashley Young scoring twice, scoring his first with an acrobatic volley before curling a wonderful shot into the top corner for his second.
Jermain Defoe's late goal in the closing stages could only be a consolation for Spurs. Spurs would definitely feel the pressure pilling as their grip on the automatic Champions League spot is being jeopardised by Arsenal's recent good run of form.

Robin Van Persie guns down Liverpool

Robin Van Persie- 2 chances, 2 goals. Arsenal emerged winners in their Premier League clash at Anfield with a scoreline of 2-1 thanks to Robin Van Persie's magnificent striker's instincts.

Van Persie-  Man of the match

Arsenal's victory on Merseyside means they are now just four points behind third-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who are hosting Champions Manchester United later today. Liverpool at the meantime, are 10 points adrift fourth place (crucial Champions League spot)

The first half of the match saw Liverpool getting a penalty in the 18th minute. Arsenal's Szczesny came to the rescue with a sublime double save to deny Liverpool from taking the lead. However, minutes later Szczesny could do nothing when Koscielny take a swipe and scored a wonderful own goal for Liverpool. 1-0 Liverpool. Liverpool was almost 2 up when Suarez effort struck the woodwork yet again. This was Liverpool's 21st time striking the woodwork.

On the 31st minute, Bacary Sagna curled in an inviting cross and Jamie Carragher who was in for the injured Daniel Agger  looked poor as he allowed Van Persie to steal in for his first ever Premier League goal at Anfield.

Van Persie's first goal to level the game at 1-1
Soon after the restart, an innocuous collision with Henderson left Mikel Arteta concussed and had to be stretchered off after an innocuous collision with Henderson,  Abou Diaby replacing Arteta for his first appearance since November.

Again, Liverpool kept probing and searching for the winning goal. Nonetheless, the Reds were made to pay for their profligacy when, two minutes into added time, Alex Song's floated ball over the top was met by a superb left-footed volley from Van Persie for his 31st Arsenal goal of the season. Reina had no chance. Liverpool quest to book a place in Champions League football seem all but over now. Arsenal at the meantime remains on track to book the vital Champions League spot.

Ferrari's all-new F12 Berlinetta

Meet Ferrari's all-new F12 Berlinetta, it's fastest and most powerful road car ever.

The F12 will replace the 599 GTB Fiorano when it is made available to the public later this year. Engine wise, It packs a 730bhp 6.3-litre V12 engine, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed twin clutch automatic gearbox.
In comparison to the 599. the new F12 is lighter and 20 percent stiffer. There's an all-new aluminium spaceframe chassis, which mixes and matches up to12 different kinds of alloys to reduce weight and improve structural rigidity.
With the help of F1-inspired technology and a shaped honed largely in the windtunnel, manouvering around corners at high speeds can be done without breaking a sweat. Besides that, it also has magnetic suspension that's designed specifically to keep the tyres planted to the road at all times.
Its electronic differential, stability control and traction control systems function together to make the car as fast as possible. The F12 also has the sharpest steering rack Ferrari has ever put into a road car.
The Ferrari F12 goes around Ferrari's famed Fiorano test track quicker than anything else that the public has been able to buy from the company. The F12 hits 100 kph in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 339 kph. Amazing, isn' it?
